CAPA Academy are offering the opportunity for students to attend Dance workshops instructed by top Choreographers tWitch, Jordan Clarke, Matt Lazzarini and Allison Hollker all held in state of the art studios in Warriewood.
Workshops cover dance techniques, across the floor progressions and fantastic choreography in the genres of Jazz, Contemporary, Acrobatic Arts, Hip Hop and more!!
This workshop is suitable only for the Intermediate – Advanced Dancer.
Pre-Teen – Teen – Pre Senior – Senior Age groups.
Wednesday July 17th and Thursday July 18th  
Students are able to participate in 1 or 2 days.

Jordan Clarke
Acro Dance / Contemporary  

Winning the title of “Canada’s Favourite Dancer” on So You Think You Can Dance Canada, she landed a starring role  (Giselle) on the hit Television Series The Next Step and toured the world with The Next Step Wild Rhythm Tour, a live-on-stage production showcasing the amazing talents of The Next Step dancers.  Since then, Jordan has choreographed and creative directed three of The Next Step Tours, and moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her dream of working in film and TV.

Hip Hop 

Stephen “tWitch” Boss launched his career as a semifinalist on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project. A few years later, he was selected to be a Top 20 finalist on Fox’s hit TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, where he went on to be that season’s runner-up. In 2010, tWitch was selected as a So You Think You Can Dance All Star. tWitch has also starred as a dancer in Hairspray, Step Up 3D, and Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming and is a DJ’s for Ellen DeGeneres.

Nick Lazzarini

Season One winner of Fox’s hit show So You Think You Can Dance. He has since been featured in multiple films, including Step Up Revolution, and countless publications. Nick has performed at the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards,the American Music Awards, and the TV Video Music Awards.  He has also danced with music sensations such as Adele, Kelly Clarkson, and Florence and the Machine.

Allison Holker

Launched her professional career in a performance with Earth, Wind and Fire at the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2002 Olympic Games. She went on to star as a dancer in Disney’s High School Musical and High School Musical 2. On the second season of Fox’s hit TV show, So You Think You Can Dance, Allison advanced to the Top 8 and danced in that season’s nationwide tour. She has toured with Clay Aiken and Demi Lovato and has danced as a back-up dancer on The X Factor.

An introduction into the world of circus arts and street performing Cirque Du Soleil style.

Learn tumbling, balancing, strength, flexibility, aerial and partnering skills.

Tuesday JULY  16th: Drama  Acting for Stage and Screen

Spend the day with Dr Seuss acting for stage workshop. A great way to get students moving, learning and creating rhyming scenes.Wednesday JULY 17th: Singing Workshop

Wednesday JULY 17th: Singing 

Bring along your favourite songs, work with a vocal coach and choreographer, put it all together and be part of a performance at the end of the day.

Thursday JULY  18th: Dance/Hip Hop/ Musical theatre 

Learn the latest Hip Hop moves (break dancing, popping, locking, freezes) plus enjoy dances from musicals e.g: Footloose, Grease


Friday JULY 19th: Video Pop Star 

Learn a pop song and latest choreography, dress up and be part of a Video Clip.


 Monday JULY 22nd : Performing Arts Day
