Age groups: Junior 5-8yrs & Teens: 9-12yrs & Pre Senior 12yrs+
Time: 9am-3pm daily
Before and After care available. (Additional costs apply).
CAPA Academy are able to accept Creative kids vouchers towards workshops.
Theatre Camp.
Wednesday January 22nd- Friday January 24th (3 days)
Students will learn all aspects of theatre on and off stage. They will explore what it is like to be in a professional production from the audition process through to performance. Script work , scenes, choreography, costumes, sets and props. At the end of the camp students will perform their work for friends and family.
Dance Camp.
Wednesday January 22nd- Friday January 24th. (3 days)
Students will be able to enhance their dance skills and quality of performance by participating in this dance workshop.
Enjoy learning the latest techniques, explore new dance genres, build on your flexibility and performance, create solo and group performance pieces, learn tumbling and tricking combinations.
Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Stretch Strength and conditioning, Musical theatre, Tap and Acrobatic Arts.
At the end of the camp students will perform for friends and family.
Monday January 20th : Acrobatics Arts/Circus skills
An introduction into the world of circus arts and street performing Cirque Du Soleil style. Learn tumbling, balancing, strength, flexibility, aerial and partnering skills.
Tuesday January 21st : Drama Stage and Screen
Students spend the day exploring character journeys and scenes. Be a famous character, act out a movie scene, add sets, props and film your performance.
Wednesday January 22nd: Singing Workshop
Bring along your favourite songs, work with a vocal coach and choreographer, put it all together and be part of a performance at the end of the day.
Thursday January 23rd: Dance/Hip Hop/Musical theatre
Learn the latest Hip Hop moves (break dancing, popping, locking, freezes) and memorable dances from great TV musicals e.g: Grease, High School Musical, The Descendants etc.
Friday January 24th: Performing Arts Day.
Sing, dance, act, visual arts and acrobatics. All in one day.
A great introduction into the wonderful world of Performing Arts.
Tuesday January 28th: Pupil Free Day
